Signs Now in Norman

Well there's a company in Norman called "Signs Now" that has an ad out on their curb that says something to the affect of "The new law is now in effect, get your 'No Guns' sign today!"

That really bothers me. Maybe it shouldn't, but it is really eating at me. Whatever.

ANY SIGN IN THE RIGHTS-OF-WAY OR OFF YOUR PROPERTY – No sign of any kind can be erected which is within the public right-of-way, generally defined as that area between the sidewalk and the edge of the street or road. The one exception to this rule is political signs no larger than 30”wide & 20” tall in the front yard of a single family dwelling. When no sidewalk is present, your property line is approximately 15 feet from the curb or edge of the street. Signs are also never allowed in sight triangles at intersections (including those areas where private drives intersect with city streets). Signs in these areas can and will be removed by city staff without notice to the property owner, because they can obstruct the vision of the traveling public or interfere with pedestrian movement.

I would like to see buy your "open carry welcome " signs right next to it. If they are going to profit from the new law go all out.

I'm looking forward to the first busines to be ballzy enough to only allow open carry and ban the evil/sneeky /chicken-chit concealers.
