I just never seen this much divisive bitterness between the two partys. Ive never seen a congress so polarized. During the Reagan/Oneil years things still got done, even during the Clinton/Gingrich years they compromised.

Bush/Pelosi it got worse, Obama/Boener(sp) non existent.

I have a theory on this. I hypothesize that both of the parties have compromised so much for so long that they don't have anything left but their core values to give away and they are unwilling to go there.

Gary Johnson, but he doesn't stand a snowball's chance in hell.

Johnson does seem to be the typical OSA libertarian type choice. I have to admit I don't know a whole lot about him other than the basic stand. I'd certainly be in favor of someone with a more freedoms type platform and a fiscally conservative mind. IIRC, lots of economists have come out and said that Johnson's slash the budget approach might not be the best right now given how fragile the economy is? I honestly don't know how to separate the wheat from the chaff in all of that kind of talk...
