Was at an estate sale down the road and snagged this Wingedwheel No 350 oil lamp from what appears to be the 1950s if my Google-Fu skills are working. It was in really rough shape but looked like if shown a little love I could get her back in running order once again. It's 7" tall, I know it's hard to tell without anything in the image for reference. When I got it half the paint was gone, it was filthy and had that sticky oil residue all over and it had several 2" Muddobber nests covering the poor thing both inside and out. I don't know why but I'm fascinated by these little things.

We used oil lamps during ice storms to keep light in the home. Ours were hurricane lamps, but the same principle.

Neat lantern. I had a couple of those when I was a kid. Camping out in the back yard with a pup tent, a sleeping bag, and a lantern.

Now, if I'm camping out, it is in a 38 foot fifth wheel with a Select Comfort mattress and A/C.
Same with a few exceptions.
