The reference in that one story about the deceased couple's address being on "Harding" and not being hardened, in comparison with a home on "Hardy" that was hardened and had security cameras is an important distinction. Both houses having the same house number indicates that some ignoramus needs a LOT more education and training.

I was watching a video the other day by some "average joe" out looking at the two houses. Even in his video, it was obvious that the one on Hardy was more likely to be a drug house than the one on Harding.

Saw the same video. First Amendment auditor YouTube channel "News Now Houston" (former military and law enforcement) did the walk by. The drug house had cameras everywhere. Major clusterfluck by HPD.

HPD swears they hit the right house. It appears the deceased woman is the daughter of the 911 caller, so I don't believe they got the wrong address. They just flat didn't have PC for a warrant.

I saw that about a week or 10 days ago too. While certainly plausible I don't think that's near enough to go straight into hanging them high. See below...

^^^ I tend to go with this. I also have no real expectation of there not being some real "Training Day" type bullshat in covering up the whole thing either. I do hope the real truth comes out whichever way it goes.

I also agree that there are waaaaayyyyyyy too many of these no-knock warrants done. If someone's life isn't in imminent danger there's no reason for them. And ironically if that actually is the case they generally "hold back" to mitigate the risk. Sad predicament we see today huh?

I'm not sure you can trust the News Now guy either.

I can just about promise you there will be no coverup. That crap ended in Houston a long, long time ago. You are reading what the news is reporting and it takes time to get to the truth in an investigation. The news just reports whatever they can get their hands on. If Internal Affairs and Harris County DA can't handle it you can bet the Feds will.
