I buy the peanuts at Atwood's and leave them out at night. After the crows are gone. The peanuts are gone next morning. I know the squirrels love em but after dark time its gotta be the rabbits.
Yes they are cute. My girlfriend saw them and went out and picked one up and it wasnt scared acting. I'll put a carrot out tonight, been feeding the adults carrots all summer.

This year is the first time in many years that we haven't had dogs in our back yard.
The bunnies have returned, it has been at least 20 years since they were around the house. It had been a long while since we had seen any, but they are prolific around the place now.

We let our kids raise a couple once. Told them when they grew up they needed to be relocated into the wild which made them happy.
That would have been a death sentence for the bunnies as they had no clue how to survive in the wild and weren’t afraid of our dogs.
Better to put them in the freezer after the kids went to bed.

Dad used to raise some. Us kids thought they were pets and never realized we were eating them. Good eating though.
