What happened to working things out with common sense. If you deserve a slap, take it and go on. I was out in the yard today checking the rain gauge, neighbors dog came over to be friendly, scratched my bare toe while playing. I guess I will regret that I did not have my attorney's number handy because I did not take my cell phone with me to file a lawsuit.

Reminds me of a time when in the 8th grade, I got into a fight with a guy at grade school school. The cops were not called, worked it out later. We have been best friends for 50+years.

I guess I need to be on the look out for someone I can call the cops on, or someone I can sue. I am sure this is what I can do to make my life better.

Where is my personal lawyer when I need him. Hope fully we will have more of them soon. I guess because of a shortage of lawyers, they are still filling up the judicial system to get ready for the upcoming surge. I can see it now, "He looked at my wife with her stuff hanging out, I want him taken to jail and I will sue him". It is all his fault for having eyeballs.

Not about to judge the guy here.

I will point out though that there's a special term for the first person to call 911: victim. If he had any inkling she was going to go BSC on him and call the cops after the fact, he was absolutely right to make the call. His degree of injury matters not here. I liken this to the advice I've heard many times about what to do if we ever have to draw on someone: call 911 ASAP, since that makes you the victim, and protects you from the goblins calling in a MWAG.

And "violated female" is an inflammatory term. In my book, that means raped or assaulted in some way. I doubt that's what you were suggesting, but there you go.

Think what would change if the complaining party was charged and fined for a frivolous police call for something that was frivolous like the above (not it seems something serious looks odd) and how the judicial system would change if the person who sued and lost had to pay all the court and attorney fees for both sides. Might it be that a few people would start using a little common sense rather than calling 911 because they got mustard instead of ketchup at Micky D's? Or "my coffee was hot and burned my tong" Little out of the common sense area into the twilight zone.

In the 70's, I knew a guy whose wife beat him up all the time. When they divorced, she married the guy who ghost wrote the best seller THE HAPPY HOOKER. True story. My hand to God. He ghost wrote some other things too.
