Forgot that one until you mentioned it. I still get a whiff of bean oil when some of the ATV's pass by at Little Sahara. Takes me back to the racing days as well.

Bean oil! Castrol R. Could never mistake it.

Leather! I walk in my leather shop or my tack room and it smells like heaven. The piney woods I hunted as a kid in east Tx. Sweet feed, Spent some time as a kid at the race track when my dad was training racehorses. We mixed each horses feed with like 15 different supplements and such. Red Cell was one I often considered takin a swig of.

Yeah, I remember Looper Leathergoods in okc when they had a store front there on Prospect. The aroma would knock you down.

You folks keep bringing up things I didn't list.
There was a shop in one of the malls, Quail Springs I think that sold leather goods and pipe tobacco.
Just walking by there make you suck in your gut and square your shoulders. Real manly smells.

I like a lot of those already mentioned but one that hasn't been listed yet is the smell of nitromethane exhaust blasting out from top fuel dragsters.

At least I really enjoyed it thirty years ago when I used to go to Thunder Valley now and then.
