Special Election in District 2 Congressional Race?

According to news reports earlier, the State Election Board was to have a closed door meeting to decide whether a special election would be held in a Dist 2. Mullin won that seat last week, but challenger Everett was killed in a car accident two days prior to the election. The Dems have chosen former State Senator Jerry Ellis from Valliant as a replacement if an election is called. Any news on this? Those of us in SE Oklahoma don't get Oklahoma news at all.

According to the News6 site ( http://www.newson6.com/story/27370726/no-special-election-for-oklahoma-congressional-race ), there will be no special election, as the state Election Board certified Mullins's victory on the advice of its counsel in the AG's office.
