20 million dollars spent by the democrats sure show they wanted the win to make a point.
Fail again.

They bet on the wrong horse. The Georgia seat had been solid republican for what? 30 years? And the district voted Trump just 8 months ago. The South Carolina seat had been republican for 7 some years and the district had voted for Trump as well.

Someone in the DNC is/should be getting an a$$chewing.

Is that the same type of thinking as Obama wasn't far enough to the left to satisfy the lib dem base and that is why Hillary lost? :anyone:  :rolleyes2

That party is in complete disarray. They brought it on themselves, and currently don't know how the heck to get out of the hole they dug themselves into.

Judging by a quick 30-min search/read on the topic, it appears that nothing unexpected happened. The political vote forecasters were accurate...and if anything deviated from expectation, the democratic candidates did better than expected. It doesn't look like this will have any effect now, or on the 2018 elections. I don't see what the big deal is (but I still don't know much about the candidates, either).

That's kinda where I was going. No net gain for Republicans. Long time repub seats stayed republican.

One good thing is that it probably drained the DNC war chest a bit, but then again it probably hit the RNC's as well.

And it is fun watching liberal "journalists" pout, which is way more fun than watching Fox News "journalists" gloat.
