Some people use 'saddle soap' on their belts & holsters... it takes the squeaking out of leather saddles and softens / preserves the leather.. you can get it where shoe polish is sold in most cases. It comes in the same kind of can... just rub it on .. let it set for a few minites and then rub off the excess.

If you soften the belt or holster. it wont be able to do its job...be stiff, sturdy, hold your gun correctly.
Is your belt too long, do you wear it extremely tight.? Never had that much trouble with Looper belt and Crossbreed, MTAC holsters.
The little bit of squeaking it does , doesnt seem to bother me.
I did put wax paper in the holster for a little while to smoothen it up.
