I have read that you can empty this thing in about 7 seconds, which is a lot more rounds a lot faster than you can with any of the other guns mentioned. I liked the article on it I read, and would consider getting one, but the price is ridiculous. I would be a buyer up to about $1k. Over that, not a chance. I would buy a KSG too, but they still are hard to find and I sure wont pay over $1k for that.

My personal fav shotgun is still my 870 pump. Never have had a problem with it.

I've emptied a Saiga 12 (11 rounds) in a tic under 2 seconds from the low ready. With a 20 round drum you can bet I'd do 16 in a LOT less than 7 seconds, for a lot less money. I've seen several shooters who could empty an M2, speedload it and empty the gun again in less than 7 seconds. Again, for a lot less money.

Ok, you really did not help with my secret desire to purchase a Saiga 12! Lol. Some day!

Iv heard of reliability issues with the Saiga 12's.........I still want one.

This is why I said "properly massaged." Mine got the Tromix treatment, and the only time I've seen it have an issue was when a friend's skinny g/f put some bird shot through it. She adopted the pose I've seen so many people use (not using the word "women" here) - leaning back, as if to get one's face away from the firearm. The first spent case stove piped, but when I showed her how to lean into the stock, she had no further issues.

Had over 500 malfunction free rounds through my Tromix Saiga. For those on a budget, there's the DIY reliability primer on the Saiga12 Forums.

And 10Seconds, this is just for you! LOL

The only reason I would need one is to see the look on my GW's face when he pulled up and saw that wasn't using my usual O/U when dove hunting! I'm thinking they probably don't sell plugs for that:D
