The media projection and perception of an event is subject to spin. If you can master the spin process you have power.

We need a Joe Friday approach to such incidents: "Just the facts ma'am." The emotional approach we are experiencing may be good for viewer numbers and select politicians and public figures but it is divisive and harmful for us as a people.
