& why would anyone buy 5 round 10/22 magazines when the 10 rounders are plentiful & available. Just put 5 rounds in the 10 rounders if you want to shoot 5 rounds.

With the price of .22 ammo and the propensity of running through a mag in short order, that single shot might slow one down a bit to conserve some ammo.
I know I start out with some well-aimed shots and end up doing a mag dump with the rest.

I believe the question was what was the standard, they ship with 10 round …….which Is why they call it a 10/22

I would say stupid personally….anyone that would spend 20 bucks for a 1 round mag has a screw loose With a 10 round (at the same cost) you can have a 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10 round mag if you want
