15 million in damages and 1 million in attorney fees. Neither number is enough. Megyn Kelly says that ABC caved, I say Trump caved. Trump should have lasted for double, or triple that amount. He would have got it.

IMHO, Trump should have gotten at least $148M(same as the settlement against Giuliani)!

Personally, I suspect that there was no way ABC could win, and in fact, probably didn't even want to have to go and be deposed. There was talk of 4 hour deposition times, in which ABC and Stephanopolis would have had to present all kinds of texts, e-mails, and even maybe audio communications from the producers of that segment, and ABC might very will have gotten the worst possible feedback after all the shenanigans were exposed.

My guess is that they wanted an extremely quick settlement.

What's really funny is that settlement will be paid to build the Trump Presidential Library, where I am sure it will be emblazoned forever.

Hard to say what dollar amount they started with. I too would have enjoyed the irony of $148m. The $15m will go in escrow and I assume building interest for five years until the Trump Library gets started. Seeing how Trump builds things, that might cover a closet or doorway.
