The controversy here is not about the policy itself, but about Bloomberg actually saying it is okay that more minorities are searched because they commit the majority of the crimes in NYC. What an incredibly politically INCORRECT think to say......sorry I think its funny, I hate political correctness.

For those who don't think we'd submit to unwarranted searches here in Oklahoma, read the thread on this forum in regards to vehicle checkpoints, and see how many people think we should just smile and say thank you to the officer for pulling us over for no reason. LOL

It was only a few years ago that I was temporarily banned from the forum for being outspoken against what the LEO's around here call "wellness checks". There are plenty on this forum that PILED on to me for my comments relating the stops to "gestapo tactics".

So....now that a few years have gone by....how do y'all feel about "wellness checks" by LEO's now?? What's the difference between being stopped in your vehicle for questioning and being frisked?? Either way, it's a shakedown in my opinion.
