John Imes has an M94 sitting on his table at the OKC gun show. It's priced at $495 but he said he'd be willing to let it go for $450. It has the following issues that I noticed...

Front sight protector ears have been removed.
Buttplate and lower stock band serial numbers do not match.
Handguard is beech and does not match the French Walnut stock.
Buttplate has been bedded with brown acraglass.
Stock sling buckle is missing.

Thought I'd post this up in case someone wanted to undertake a resto project like flatwins.

I know many will frown on this idea, but I see that 1894 carbine as a fantastic base gun for a sporterized Swede.

No frowning here, as that M94 sounds like it's beyond financially reasonable salvage depending on how deeply embedded the acraglass is. Even if the glass can be removed, it's still going to be an $$ restoration.
