I agree with everyone about these blocks being worth every penny plus some. These blocks hold the cases much better than any of the plastic ones.
I started counting the holes in that "custom" loading block. I got to about 40 when I noticed the specs right there in front of me, doh.
We talked about maybe making a block for the 50 BMG.

Man that would be nice to have for sure..Hard to keep straight in Hard wood..the bit etc will flex and follow the hard grain in the wood.
That oak is hard..pine is a non issue.

But the issue would be that my bits are custom sized..Would suck to make 10 bits all the same exact size and face shape..
As i am using store bought drill bits and modifying them to the diameter i need..

The nice thing about a boring machine is the standards bits come in millimeters. A 5mm is perfect for 5.56, 6mm for 6.5, ect....

I bought this loading block because I am getting into progressive reloading and need a way of prepping bulk quantity of cases....fits perfectly in my work area! Great job on this piece, Swampratt! Highly recommend this type block if you are into bulk ammo production....here are some pics for anyone interested......I tried to get my brass shiny for the pics!
