Man, I’m sorry. Nothing hurts like the less of a pet.

I’ve lost family members and of course was sad, but I cried like a baby when my pup passed a few years ago.

Time of course heals all, but take time to remember your pup and as you mentioned, take solace in their escape from suffering.

My little ball of ABSOLUTE BOSS went to the land of infinite jerky today.

I'm thankful it didn't end like I thought it would. She had bladder cancer but it was her kidneys that gave out. She was a trooper to the end, she didn't even act sick at all. That's just the way she was, when I could tell she was sick, she was really really sick, like in need of hospitalization sick. She just never showed or let on any discomfort.
