After reading your "friend's" words to you, JB, I'm almost certain that person has to be one of crowd of similar lib-progs that show up to make similar stupid comments on gun articles/letters in the Tulsa World online forums. I can just imagine any one of what I call "the usual suspects" making that call to you. I appreciate your candor in dealing with that person. I'm sure you know that the person was not really a "friend", merely somebody that maintained a relationship because it had some benefit to them.

An extremely liberal friend of mine found out I owned OSA and called me today. I was told that "I am extremely disappointed you would own such a hideous bastion of paranoids, racists and losers. If you have an ounce of human decency or an iota of respect for the victims of gun violence, you will shut that site down immediately."

I replied, "Well XXXX, I have both those things, and I also have a pair of size 14 Lucchese boots that I will put up your a$$ if you ever call me again. In fact, if you happen to see me out someplace, do us both a favor and avoid me."

I don't think we're friends any more.

I'm not a racist either, I don't race any one anywhere, as far as as paranoid, life's experiences has made me that way, and that's where my loser side comes in!

I was watching a video clip on Stossel (FOX News Business channel) last night in which a young lady was conducting "on the street" interviews in some place like Chicago. There was one "broad" that wanted to get rid of the 2nd Amendment. When asked about also getting rid of the 1st Amendment or all the others, her reply was to say only the 2nd needed to go.

So sad that folks don't fully understand the relationship of all of them together. Our founders, some of whom were farmers and landowners, had far more intelligence than some of the folks today.
