I forgot what a creepy movie it is. Some of the movies from the 70's are a lot scarier than the stuff out now.

I remember the first time I saw it. I think that me and my friends hyped it up too much. I didn't find it scary at the time. Nowadays it's one of the few movies to actually give me goosebumps when I watch it.

I agree. Hollywood forgot how to scare people with a good story and now just depends on gore.

One of my favorites is the "Shining"..I think that is one of the all time greats.

I was 7 years old when my brother thought it'd be a good idea to let me go on a date with he and his girlfriend. They were going to see The Exorcist. They didn't think I'd get it and wouldn't notice that it was scary. It has been 35 years and I STILL have nightmares about it.

Now, I love a good scary movie, but I can't deal with the thought of that one.

I've seen a few clips from "The Exorcist" but have never seen the movie. I don't need to - my first wife could have passed for Linda Blair's twin and I still have nightmares about her!
