Why do they even bother making other pistols designs?

I mean really, what's the point?...

Other than the new Glock designed, gas operated, striker fire, safeties optional, low or hi-cap polymer 1911/2011 that my brothers sister in laws uncles buddy that works for Glock told me about of course...

Hahaha...I've been so busy lately I haven't had a chance to do a full range report/ write-up....but I will say just from squeezin off a few of my carry rounds its more accurate than I am at 25 yrd and will punch one ragged hole at 7
