#1 It's not that hard, It's actually rather easy. (Follow the law) It's not a big mystery.
It's not that dangerous, It's 20th, Cashier is number 1.
Thought pretty hard about going LEO when I was 20, but decided the same thing that kept me from completing basic would hinder me as a cop, my health. I ended up going into healthcare instead, which is one of the few professions that can understand some of what cops go through. We see a lot of it too, which is one reason cops and ER nurses have such a high marriage rate. My hat goes off to you.
After 34 years, I couldn't do anything else.
