I have been using the lee and have only ever broke but one pin when i first got started and that was because of my own stupidity after that havent broke another, i now use their universal deprimer die and after many many many thousands of brass i have yet to break a pin but then to im in no hurry and use a single stage press for everything.

I’ve only broken pins on the progressive. Sometimes you just get going, and I have found those Lee pins tend to bend a little bit at a time and eventually snap. Part of the reason is because the typical dedicated decapping die has no means to center the cartridge, and the progressive may not index it in exactly the same spot every time. That’s one of the reasons I love this new die. It auto centers the cartridge before ever putting the pin in the brass. Nails the primer dead center every time.
