This is my definition also. Nothing in there about saluting, singing, or honoring an object.
I think all politicians are basically the same. However, given only two scumbags to choose from, Romney appears to be slightly less scumbaggy. Truthfully, we are screwed either way. I was excited when Bush won his second term, and look at how that turned out.
