So how are they going to swing this with the baby? Is Rick going to switch back to ***** mode and start lactating??? I don't see how the baby can be a permanent character to the show. But I also don't see how they can kill off a baby even in a show like this.

Well, I think Carol will play a role as the nanny/protector of the baby...but I wouldn't put it past them to kill it off. They've already shot two little girls and had a son shoot his mother. No character is safe.

This show is going to have legs....years...M.A.S.H. like legs.

Carl has had his heart blackened, he shot her. Splattered her gray matter all over the prison floor. I don't see the baby making it, these writers are not pansies. The first person in the entire series to eat it was an 9 year old girl in a bathrobe carrying a bunny, once you cross that line, a little baby with no mom is ripe for it. Sick, sick I tells ya. I figured the baby was stillborn and would reanimate outside the womb, but to no avail. They could try to make it a permanent member of the series, you the whole hope for humanity thing, not that there is much hope for such, with everyone being infected and all. Its going to be really hard to make it work unless the baby gets taken to the Governor's town in the end. I think the baby is zombie food, as twisted as that is.

BTW, one of the best episodes of TV, ever. I was not a lori hater like a lot of you, but regardless, that is a crappy way to go, eviscerated and left to die. OF course, Tdog got his throat ripped out, that would be just as bad.

Perhaps Carol showed up and saved Lori after Carl didn't actually put a bullet in her is always a possibility. Have to suspend reality for the show but they listed her as "In Memoriam" on The Talking Dead but they didn't talk about her any, just T-dawg who was the guest.

Coming back as a zombie counts as coming back. They lead us to believe we'd never see her again. I bet Hot Carl chickened out and she's a walker soon.

BTW, if Glynn keeps knockin' the bottom out of the farm girl, they're going to have to be toting another baby around soon. Can't blame him on that one, though.

+1. Nice bit of comic relief in an otherwise morbid (exceptionally morbid, that is!) episode. Glen and his honey just need to drop a rope so the rest of the gang can send up supplies while they stay in the guard tower doin' what they do best.

When I go to the range, there are lots of gun shots. No one dies. Weird.

Could be he locked in a cell and intends to go visit mommy every now and then. They had some unresolved issues. I don't know... Just trying to see into the writers minds.
