I've been wondering. What are all the tick marks in the governor's notebook? Do they stand for people killed?? Or zombies?

I don't think Carl, Rick, Glen, or Maggie will be killed. Everyone else is fair game. Michonne gets kilt in the book by the governor. In the book, it is her and Rick that get captured by the governor. He cuts off Rick's hand and repeatedly and brutally rapes Michonne. She works him over pretty good with her katana and leaves him for dead, but he pulls through and ultimately gets his revenge.

umm, Michonne is still alive in the comic.

Just one of the Governor's thugs, but Rick had a little freak out moment before he shot him, though it was his old buddy Shane.

I think he was referring to the Gov's attack on the prison, not that the Gov kills Michonne.
