Still watching, from the first show and looking forward to rest of season 11.

Also looking forward to the Rick Grimes movies that will come out after the show ends this season.

Also looking forward to the Daryl and Carol spinoff starting in 2023.

I think it's fun when people say they don't like a movie or tv show because it's unrealistic, would you really want to watch real life. Movies and tv are an escape from the drudgery of real life.

If you do want to watch a movie that depicts "real life" as well or better than maybe any movie ever made I would suggest the movie "EMPIRE", it was done by Andy Warhol in 1964. "EMPIRE" was selected in 2004 to be put into the National Film Registry of the Library of Congress

Well the show was about the depravity of man from the beginning, met personally I‘d have pushed a houseboat into the middle of a lake somewhere and shot anything floating my way…..
I think originally it was about man’s survival. Yes there were those that were deprave, however IMHO Negans character took it to a whole new level with his over the top violence toward the character Glenn. That was the last episode wife and I watched.

I didn’t watch the series during its run on television. But, I recently started watching it on Netflix. The first 5 or 6 seasons were interesting and compelling. However, it’s obvious the show had became a product of its time. The amount of interracial and gay relationships in the last few seasons seemed to be pushing a political agenda.
I started watching for several seasons and got hooked but my cable service canceled AMC so that was the end of it for me but I always thought that RED DAWN would have been a similar survival theme without the zombies but with roving bands of scavengers competing for food and supplies, more realistic and posable by today's standards.

I didn’t watch to much past that wither but it was for a different reason, it got stale and woke past my woke tolerance level

Here, but occasionally There.
I've never watched Walking Dead. Not one episode.

I gave up watching Walking Dead before giving up watching Walking Dead was cool. :rollingla

Pfffttt...

...I've also not watched any of the series or shows. What's more, I'm tired of reading about it on forums.

I just happened to catch your comment as I "fast-forwarded" to the last post on the last page. I do that to "clear" the thread to where it doesn't show to be "unread."

The thing was Glenn was killed in the comic books, so this is one aspect that they got right. For me it was when they killed off Carl and Rick was taken by some secretive government agency. Then it just got too stupid for me.

The whole Negan part though, I thought that was the most realistic segment of the whole series. I could actually see people taking it to that level because as a species we have already taken it to that level and more so. In comparison to some people from our past, Negan was actually quite reasonable. Never really understood his love of Lucille, but hey whatever floated his boat.
