That's ridiculous man - sorry to hear that. People these days have ZERO respect for other peoples property.

How exactly did they steal the doors? Was it unlocked and they opened the doors and removed the hinges?

Jonny

Not really sure, the doors were locked. A neighbor saw someone loading up something in front of the house at 3 AM. I think I found the car that was there. It was a white Cherokee, and the one that I found in the neighborhood that matches it exactly has the back seat down, blankets in the back with some tools. Called the cops, waiting for them now.

Yes, they do have vin's on them...

Well, at lease one of them should, unless it was a salvage door to replace the damaged factory door (this happens quite a bit) then the sticker is removed or the VIN does not match the true VIN.

I am at 51st/Sheridan area. I will keep my eyes open.

Dang man, sorry to hear that, I'll keep my eyes open. I have an '04 Wrangler Rubicon and I got these special key hinge bolts for the doors from a small Jeep dealership in Broken Arrow on 71st ST. They are called "Jeeper Keepers". They are a key bolt that goes in the hinges of each side. They require a special keyed socket that was made specifically for your bolt set to remove them, so no two bolt and key sets are the same. They're about $60 but are worth it considering that it will keep crooks from stealing your doors. Hope this helps for future reference.
