Let's go to Pretendland and say the left antler was broken off and only the right is there on his head. Is this an antlerless deer in that scenario?

I think it is, because the Oklahoma antlered definition is: "Any deer, regardless of sex, with at least three inches of antler length above the natural hairline on either side."

The right antler is not "above the natural hairline" by three inches. It is technically behind it.

It doesn't really matter, I am just curious as to what the OS brain trust thinks.

I’ve often wondered that myself. I’d like to think that’s not ticketable. Ive seen a couple of wardens say “looks 2 7/8 to me” or something similar on a buck that was close to 3” but definitely over.

Antlered. The entirety of his right antler is above the hairline. It reads "at least 3 inches of antler length" not antler 3" above the hairline.
In other words, it's the length of the antler, not the height above the hairline

If the only one there is bent and it appears to be less than 3 inches but is 3 or more, you're getting a ticket to Ranger's Ball. That would really suck. I just seen a video of a guy in Texas that got burned on a similar technicality. It's only a problem if you have shot your 2 buck limit. Otherwise, take it as one of your 2 bucks. Play it safe.
