I think the Court would tell you that you may hire a security company that is currently licensed in New York.

I guess none of you are reading to understand what I'm saying, just reading to argue. I was looking for a legal discussion on what the courts might say, not this "suck it up buttercup" non-sense. This was a THEORETICAL discussion, not something I was planing to do next week. I was looking for a way to force states into a reciprocity. Basically forcing them to allow us citizens to the right of self protection. Since the SCOTUS has been going off precedent instead of actually reading the 2nd amendment, I was looking for another way at the issue.
But I guess so many people here harbor such ill will towards blue states that you can't fathom why someone would go there and you completely missed the point of my topic.

You as an individual will change nothing. Going to NY to make a point will land you in jail. See the above. Some are filthy rich and it doesn't matter in liberal land.
Heller disproves that theory. One man's lawsuit changed the laws in several states. Yes, he was a police officer, however his request for a 1 year license to keep a pistol in his house was denied. This is why I brought this idea up. Yes, people have banged their heads against the brick wall of NY and NJ gun laws for decades. This is different in that if the state is removing a vistor's right to self protection, then they should bear the burden of protecting that person while he/she is within their borders.
I'm just frustrated that several states are allowed to get away with blatant infringement and the courts somehow rule this as legal. It further blows my mind how residents of these states allowed this to happen without a fight. We had our change to push anti-gun regulation laws when Trump was inaugurated with republican control of congress.
I just hope that the leftists don't get full control of both executive and legislative branches next election.
I would not set foot in New York, or Illinois, or MD, DC, basically anywhere north of Virginia.
