He has his rubber on bottom like it should be!
may have to find one with a metal tail piece so you can get tight enough! but try pulling it out make a rope of plumbers putty bed the top in sink drain in that still use your rubber on the bottom and snug up the best you can works most of the time!
Had one just recently that did that switched to an all metal assembly and took care of it ! i think its is just the way they mould the sinks that is the problem! sorry for your hassleI've already redone the putty on top 3x
This is a new sink, new drain kit, it's leaked from the first time it was installed.
I guess I'll grab a new gasket/kit.
