More than likely when mine crap out yours will to, because I figure when ATT does it they’ll kill 3g for that entire part of the state. I’m already thinking about buying a 4g model just to be prepared. That what I did before 2g went away.

I was hoping they would leave the 3g on for rural areas, but it doesn't sound like it.

It doesn’t work like that. “They” already have a date that 3g is supposed to go away, but I can’t really remember what it is right now.

I was talking to someone the other day that had to get a newer phone for their relative because the old flip phone they had was only 3g and it wouldn't work anymore. I don't recall if they said just where they lived.

I received a text from AT&T on May 26 that said they were ending 3G Feb. 2022.
