Thought I could pick up all the brass at the range today...

I used to when I was young and foolish, pick up spent lead at a firing range to make fishing sinkers.

Probably went home and made a fresh balogna sandwich without washing your hands
Or maybe that was me

Or my method, put the grandkids to work . A 4 and a 7 year old make fast work out of it.

Did the range where this came from ever get mentioned? We pickup brass on our outdoor range but the gravel makes it tough as every piece has to be hand picked. The tools shown don’t work well even the pinchers pickup rocks along with the brass.
