Between the debate of rifle versus sbr/pistols i have an answer. Infantry usually get the heavy long guns while the special guys get the short compact guns. It's about theory of use.
There's nothing an sbr can do over a pistol that isn't just cosmetic. You still shoulder a brace and that brace can be adjusted. A 12.5 inch barrel can still be very effective out to 600 yards. Are you going to kill a bear at 600? No. But a small 4 legged or 2 legged animal are very realistic.
