We have a bottle at work that is pretty old. It still works good.

I have a bottle of red over 12 years old still holding strong.
I have purchased bolts that have blue locktight on the threads, it is dry of course.. but man they hold.
many many years old

I have seen it quit flowing. It will dry up. I have used clear fingernail polish for years. It helps hold screws in also.
