Military funerals are tributes to each fallen hero and I make it just fine until they sound Taps. At that point my heart is so full that my eyes overflow. Thank you for posting your tribute and thank you for your service and sacrifice. May God bless and protect all who serve our country!

Captain Dunn said something that really hit me...Michael left his home to defend the freedom of people he didn't know. This type of sacrifice has made this nation great and I pray to God that our nation's supply of men like this is never exhausted. BallisticGuy, that goes for you too. I'm sorry for the loss of your buddy. Like the people in the video, I can't make it better. I sincerely believe that God will wipe away every tear but I have no idea when that day will come. Until then all I can offer are my condolences and my gratitude.

I have stood in formation on the weatherdeck of a ship in front of eight flag draped coffins. It's never easy to endure that sense of loss, knowing that guys you trained with and deployed with will not return.

I salute you and Sgt. Prince for your sacrifices. The reason his parade route was lined with so many people was because his sacrifice was understood and appreciated. You have before you a route that will bring many people into your life. I hope they understand what you've given and are appreciative. I know I am. I wish you peace and happiness. You've earned it.

As most of you know I recieved 27 pieces of shrapnal and a 7.62 rd to the lower back, and brain injuries that would change my life. I would not be here today if it was not for a team leader of ours, one of my good friends. There are a few OSA members in germany that took care of me and tried to do everything they could to help me while I was in ICU and surgery. Please take a few min of your time to watch this video. One of my good friends that gave his life for Ours and saved mine. The one year mark of september 15, 2011 is coming up fast and I fear the month of september. Please give your thanks to the family of Mycal L. Prince!

Glad your home, and as back together as they could make you. As you fear September, I fear December for the same reasons, 12/17/04 is my marker. I've had three surgeries on my neck trying to get it back together, its still not right, but its better than the other side of things.
My friend made it home, but he's not right between TBI, an PTSD. Take care Brother!!
