Tomorrow's IDPA at Oil Capitol

Oil Capital IDPA will shoot Saturday January 23 . Set-up commences at 7:30, sign-in begins at 9:30, walk-thru at 10 AM. We’ll do six stages for about 100 rounds. Match fee is $12 ($10 for OCR&GC members).

The Badlands Regional/Oklahoma 2010 State IDPA Championship 2010, at OCR&GC, is coming right along. Dates are April 24-25, 1010.

We’ll schedule some Classifiers beginning in February. These will be both after matches, as well as on non-match dates.

Will this match go on even if there are showers and storms with 25-mph winds, as predicted?

In short, yes.

• If it's just gently showering, we'll use weather resistant targets.

• We'll adapt the COF to all steel if its raining pretty hard.

• If it gets really nasty, we may hide out in the clubhouse an hour or so, until it moderates.

• We will not be outside if its lightning; we don't mess with that aspect of Mother Nature.

Thanks to all for coming. Results are out via BCC email to the shooters. We shot on weather-resistant cardboard; it worked out well. We started on time and finished plenty early. The next Oil Capital IDPA match is Saturday February 27th.
