I may have (probably) told this story before but my uncle in NW Arkansas was walking back to his hunting shed after laying out some deer corn. He walks around a copse of trees and from the other side of the trees comes a big old black bear about 10 yards away. He draws his .45 and aims it, bear stares at him for a minute, turns around and ambles back the other way. So he goes inside the shed, somethings bugging him but he cant figure out what. He ejects the mag from his .45 and the damn thing was EMPTY cuz he forgot to pack ammo on the trip. Said he about wet his pants after that. He's passed on now but when my cousin was cleaning out the shed, he found about 500 rnds of various .45 ACP stashed in cabinets all over the place.
