I have a stealth cam that I have had for three years. I wanted to put an extra up so I grabbed this one and put new batteries in it and it won't turn on. I checked the batteries and all are in the right way, but nothing.

When i out put it away last winter, the batteries had corroded and I cleaned up the contacts with a q-tip, slightly damp with baking soda in water.

Have I ruined the camera? Any suggestions?

I generally use contact cleaner for my electronics and it has always worked well for me, but you may have to take it apart(as others have mentioned) to see have far the corrosion made it. The stuff I currently have is called Deoxit and is much safer for electronics than water solutions. http://www.caig.com/ You should be able to find it online or your local audio/electronics store.
