I run Michelin Defender LTs on my RVs and Trailers. I keep the RVs and Trailers parked on hard surfaces and out of the Sun when not in use. And keep them at max recommended tire pressures. I had a Goodyear Marathon Trailer Tire that was recalled and replaced by them under a recall after one blew on a 5th wheel and stripped the electrical and such out of Fridge and one side of Trailer. That was in 97/99 and went to Michelins and not an issue since. Several of our 5th wheels I lined the wheel wells with metal after that Goodyear Marathon beat on that RV. I have not done the last two.
Goodyear did good by us, bought my first set of Michelins, took me a day to re-wire patch up and get the electrical working and scabbed upped the damaged side of the 5th wheel. We were 6 states away and still had a few weeks to be gone. We got back Goodyear rebuilt the side of the 5th wheel.
