For the past couple of years, I have gone to some form of Range Officer, Instructor or Coach course fairly regularly. But the COVID-19 issue has cancelled all training courses I had planned for this Spring and now I am going through withdrawls ...

I had been hoping to get some shooting in this spring, too, and take the Fam along. Maybe in a month or two...

I stepped up my training after the Stoneman Douglas School shooting in Florida. I wanted to prepare and make myself available to train any school staff that might be interested. Its not my brag list ...

Tom Givens has a 3-day instructor development course coming up early June in Decatur, TX.
In my opinion, it is a very much higher level of certification than any NRA based certifications. It is a great curriculum and a very packed and intense 3 days.

Highly recommended for those that want to step up to the next level.

I am also a graduate of the Rangemaster Instructor Development Course, and I frequently assist Tom with it as well. It’s a must do course for someone who wants to train others.

He also has a Defensive Shotgun Instructor course at MeadHall (McCloud) this summer. I think it is in June.
