I think I would have kicked that gun a little further before turning my back on the POS, but hey it’s heat of the battle.it’s Easy to be a backseat driver.
Dayum, that was excellent shooting while backpedaling. Unfortunate the driver got shot and needed CPR, but he brought it upon himself. Hopefully the trooper won’t have any lingering mental issues over it.

Stand over the a-hole you just shot, pump chest with bottom of boot, blow breaths towards a-hole's face while still standing.

Why wouldn't you want to break their ribs after trying to shoot you?
I'm an old lady with spinal issues. I can't push my way out of a wet paper bag right now; pretty sure the only way I could break someone's ribs would be to stand in the middle of their chest and jump up and down. Ya know ... Now that you mention it that DOES sound like it "could" help ...
