In all honesty, if you ever have the opportunity to travel overseas to third world countries, and some not so third world, everybody uses the same restroom facilities. Men, Women, and whatever. In some of the "nicer" places, there will be a ceramic lined hole in the floor. Several of them in line. Plant your feet on the marked areas and take care of your business. While doing so, other people will be entering and leaving the bathroom. You may be hanging wanger while mama-san is hiking up the dress to squat over the porcelain hole three feet to your left or right. Her kid will take the place on the other side.
In the real shat hole places, they just squat on the curb and take care of business in the dirt street. The rains will wash it down to the nearest creek eventually. It stinks.

Sounds like a liberal paradise.

Nope. The "conservatives" like to cherry pick freedoms though..... especially when it compromises religious perceptions.

Its because the US is the most prudish nation in the world. Other country's don't revere bathrooms as private entities. They look at them as a place to do the business at hand, and GTFO. They go topless on beaches and public parks in just about every country in the world other than the US. Personally I give a thumbs up for that, but we are such prudes in this country that the female breast is taboo because it might pervert somebody.
As a first hand participant in a lot of topless and sometimes bottomless beaches around the world its not a big thing after the first thirty minutes or so. You kind of get into the swing of things(pardon the pun), and its no big deal. Young, old, taunt, wrinkled, what ever. Its just people. If God wanted us to walk around nekkid, we would have been born that way.......

I ain't got that many days off, nor many hours to relax in my recliner. And depending on my diet in recent days or hours I'd either end up jumping up and down 50 times a day to avoid the situation, or spend my time as a cripple, cramping up trying to hold it in!

that was my point. You can't support the government making a law saying who can't use a private bathroom if you are simultaneously complaining about the government making a law about who can.

target took a public stand regarding how they want their bathrooms used. now people are saying 'there ought to be a law...' Can't have it both ways.
