As easy as it was to get rid of bump stocks could it be just as easy to achieve the hearing protection Act passage?

Some people just don’t get it.
It’s not about bump fire, it’s about control and controlling guns and making people That love freedom into criminals so that govt criminals can get their way without resistance because self reliant people don’t rely on the govt teat and they (govt, controllers)need people that need that govt teat so they’ll have submissive peasants

Along this line, we have an acquaintance at church that is liberal. While we were at a funeral the other day and the women (including my wife) were providing a meal for the family of the deceased, this lady commented that we needed to get rid of the semi-automatic weapons. That didn't go over well with my wife and she said as much, referring to firearms as a tool instead of a weapon. (I think the liberal might have been surprised that it was my wife defending the 2A instead of me.)

I couldn't remember the details, but have since looked it up. Some years back, there was a lady in Georgia that heard someone trying to get into her house. She called her husband at work and then got her 38 Special revolver and her twins and went into an attic crawl space. The intruder wasn't satisfied with looking for stuff to steal, so when he invaded her space, she shot him 5 times in the face and neck. She made him lie still while she got her twins out and out of the house by threatening to keep shooting him.

Perp was later caught and arrested and then even later given 10 years in prison.

If I had have remembered the details, I probably would have told our liberal friend that I'd bet this Georgia woman now owns a semi-automatic handgun that will hold more than 5 rounds.
