It is way past time to let our enemies know that we are here and not going away. We have been allowed to be pushed around and shamed for so long by past presidents that were weak that certain governments think we're weak and it is normal to threaten us. Carter, Clinton, Obama, GW Bush and more have used the military sparingly and when used have hamstrung them. All our troops will get is a medal for their actions but they do their job willingly and efficiently if allowed and I might add quickly and it's done! Turn the military loose and let our enemies know our fury and strength-that is what they recognize anyway. We try to be nice, foreign aid, hands off approach, etc and it is to no avail. They have been warned and the end result is up to them.

The US has been trying to justify a war with Iran for many years now. With oil in the basement and an election coming, I'd say we'll get one.

Of course we'll paint it as their fault, and our boys will be fighting for freedom, just like always.

And the ******* that start it, and the ******* that cheer it won't be the ones dying in it. Same old, same old..
Where you been for the past few years?

And the ******* that think Iran isn't planning something, and the ******* who think we should continue to let this slide are the ******* that won't have a thing to say if some of our men get blown up and die. Same old, same old..

Running little gunboats into the path of giant warships in international water until one of them gets run over is a great way to caim victim status. Where is Iran's culpability in any of this for you? Anywhere? At all?

Are we supposed to let these things that have been going on for years continue until some of our soldiers die because they cause an incident or lull us into complacency enough that they get into range to drop an explosive charge into the bow of one of our ships?

Again... quite frankly... where is Iran's culpability in any of this? And how many incidents of safety violation and provocation are we supposed to tolerate? They've been quite literally, openly and publicly warned, and if they continue to provoke us and we retaliate for safety purposes, it is OUR fault?

Man, f*** that logic. I'm tired of being held to a higher and different standard than shitbird actors like Iran, Iraq, NorKo and China.

F*** that.
What will happen if we blast one of those boats out of the water, we will find it was piloted by women in burkas with their children riding along with them. The propaganda will spell out that these were recreational boaters that were attacked by the war dogs of the US Navy to start a war with Iran, and the world, along with the dimocrats will agree.
Trumps fault once again.
There is so much crap going on right now to get Trump out of office that it's mind boggling. John Kerry has a back channel to the iranians to this day trying to defend and reinstate the failed Iran deal that he helped set up which is illegal but he continues to communicate with them according to reports.
Tin foil hat on, but what if the swamp were communicating with the Iranians to start a limited war or confrontation by Trump against Iran just prior to the elections?
Yeah, Yeah, I know that's out there a loooong way in conspiracy theories, but who knew the heads of the FBI, CIA, and NSA would attempt a soft coup to take down Trump as a candidate and later as a duly elected president?
I put nothing nationally or internationally impossible with the swamp in full frothing rabid mode to defeat Trump in 2020.

GW was anything but sparingly with our troops.

Guys the military industrial complex is begging for a war as usual. The problem is our sons will be dying for it.

This sort of thing happens all the time. Russian planes probe our air space, the Chinese intimidate us in international waters. We engage in this sort of thing ourselves. We maneuver in the Persian Gulf and the Iranians remind us they’re there.
A tweet doesn’t change the rules of engagement and everybody knows it.
Just another forgettable episode in the global pissing contest.

Not when they run within 10' of the bow of a US ship. The USS Cole is a prime example.
