That whole argument is just silly. Why don't you just admit you want recreational pot legal and be done with it?
nah, i want it regulated like tomatoes. i'll not be getting a license. i do have family that would benefit from this medicine, but my various chronic pains have been pretty well managed by another, FDA approved, substance.

I emailed both Stitt and Lamb. I got a response from
Lambs assistant or whoever it was. Here is the response that I got. Pretty short. And as usual it didn’t answer the question. That tells me everything I need to know. And when I visited stitts page it just says he supports the 2A and is an NRA member. That also says it all to me. So far out of the pages I have visited. Dan Fisher is who I like the most. I know they all lie and we can’t truat them; I like a lot of what he says. And I like that he is a minister.

Smalley has been a good 2A supporter and is a good guy although I fear he is slipping to the dark side. His opponent isn't likely to be much of a challenge
On my phone so I'll try to post more on locals later.

Smalley didn't bother to cast a vote in the Senate for the Const. Carry bill. Wallace didn't see a tax increase he didn't like as chairman of the budget committee.

I messaged Stitt a month ago on Facebook and asked him his position. I prefaced the question similarly to yours. He replied "I support the second amendment". That's it. The question I asked was "what was his idea of the intent of the framers of the 2A". He dodged the question completely and supplied no further comment.

FWIW, I haven't had anyone except Keith Swinton (for labor commissioner) actually directly answer a question yet. ETA: And believe it or not all of them have gotten bak to me. If they wont answer, why do they even bother?

Never trust what a politician says or writes - watch what they DO, as in actual votes. The reality is Fisher will barely leave the starting gate next Tuesday and won't make the runoff which will be between two in this group: Stitt, Cornett, Lamb. Fisher's fighting the wrong battles and didn't really bring an effective political message to the campaign. He's already been measured in the political arena with his time as a state representative and he didn't have any draw beyond local appeal. Therefore, he had no access to the mother's milk of politics: money. That means hardly any media buys which means few votes. Calculus is not required to figure this out as money is the only variable that means anything.
