Don't have a link but there was a blurb on Channel 5 about TSA agents complaining that they don't like to do body searches. Seems it is more traumatic for them than for the passengers (that was the story line, not my extrapolation thereof) ... something about some people's lack of personal hygiene ... :rotflmao:

:sorry1: I am sorry but it just struck me funny!! :rotflmao:

Also there is a youtube video of some woman who strips down to her lingerie while standing in line ... You can hear the TSA agent saying "Ma'am put your jacket on ..." LOL

I'm not gonna link to it because some might think it is not family friendly. Apparently the passenger wanted to be "more transparent" ... LOL

I saw this one time at TUL. An asian woman pulls off her business jacket and her white camisole top without a bra was EXTREMELY revealing! It was not pretty at all. :(

I've also had to hose down an entire checkpoint after some smelly passenger completed screening and headed to the gate. I learned to just stand behind a large fan and use it as an area wide Lysol dispersant. We've had hirstute women with dreadlocks on their heads and under their arms come through smelling like 30 days at Woodstock, truckers deadheading home after weeks on the road without a shower, diseased & drug addicted hookers with pockets full of condoms and used needles going home, you name it. It can be such a disgusting job that nitrile gloves cannot provide a feeling of safety or comfort.

The first time I watched a VERY straight laced screener screening the freshly crowned PGRA "rodeo queen", I though he was going to quit on the spot. Lots of other stuff that made for some sleepless nights. It's a pretty good job overall, but it does have it's drawbacks.

I've been in way too close a quarters with some of these people also. Drove a homeless guy to the mental hospital in Norman from the Capitol area once. Couldn't get home quick enough and get in the shower. Left the windows down in my car for a week. And that was after I sprayed a can of Lysol into it and cleaned the seats with Resolve.

I have not flown commercial since September 10, 2001. I have stated this before on this forum before to no avail of course, but without the scanners I was impressed with the security I went through at Orlando, FL and KC, KS. Only thing I can add, is that people I know who fly often on business to Europe don't have to deal with these things. In Europe they PROFILE! Enough said.

HAHA, I did a prisoner transport to the mental hospital in Big Springs Tx one time from Lubbock. About halfway there, the 400+# transport became distressed and had to stop twice, once on the side of the road. The third time there wasn't enough time to pull over and he went in the back of the patrol car. He'd been pumped full of activated charcoal at the medical hospital after a suicide by pill attempt. The damned hospital didn't want to keep him till it all got flushed out of his system! Ran code flat out the rest of the way there and back. Even using every can of disinfectant the MH had, it was enough to make you vomit. Needless to say, the unit had to have a new seat and it still smelled bad for a long time. :nono2:

That's the part that sucks the most... it's YOUR job to clean that crap up.

Thank the Lord for plastic back seats and a water hose!
