Tulsa Area Walk-in Bathtub Installation

My Mom is in her 70s and I've finally talked her into replacing her traditional tub with a walk-in. Has anyone in the Tulsa area had this done recently? I'm not sure if the best route is to buy one at Lowe's/Home Depot and schedule the installation through them, buy one and find my own installer, or buy through a manufacturer and have them install it. I don't feel comfortable doing this, so I will be hiring someone else for the installation.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Shop around. Get everything in writing. There are tons of commercials on TV right now offering this conversion, but I don’t know anything about the companies or installers.

I used Reeves a few years ago to replace our old tub with a full shower. They did a perfect job and took about a week. The owner is a great guy very honest and straight forward.
