Anyone know which Tulsa PD are offering it? Any chance of an address? Searched for it on Google Maps, but I got a lot of hits that I don't think are what they meant in the article.

This thread makes me want to call my local PD. They have a big lobby.
I believe they are talking about the division parking lots.
I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want to be waving guns around in a PD parking lot. Yep, I wouldn't want to do that myself.....
Hopefully, one wouldn't wave the firearm around. I think that would attract the wrong attention in any location.
actually, don't wave any guns period. but if you're hellbent on doing it, yell 'allahu akbar'!!! that should get you all the attention you need plus 3 squares.
This is fantastic news! Here in IL, the PD parking lots are GFZs (Gun Free Zones), so I have met at the local Walmart to do gun sales.
Nice to see PDs offering their spaces up. I never thought to use one, but it can't be a bad idea. I've always just tried to meet up in a well traveled parking lot, and I always bring my gun. I can only assume, especially when buying a gun, that the other guy is packing too. It's a shame that we have to take these precautions, but at least the cops are offering a level of protection...or comfort at the least.
