Now that they’ve been exposed and thwarted, expect GKF and other prominent Tulsa liberals to spend time, money and political capital to get our pro gun laws weakened. We must remain vigilant!

^^^ this x eleventy billion. Don't think they are going to roll over and say, "Well, shucks, ok, I guess you guys can carry in OUR public park." No sir, no way, no how.

I'd bet there are some public figures who are going to benefit MIGHTILY from some contributions in the next year or two to try to get our gun laws changed for the worse.

You make a good point about a future struggle against deep pockets. I also think you are very optimistic to pronounce this round as having been won. Until this round goes to court for a definitive ruling, we're still playing around the margins of the issue, IMO.

You're absolutely right about that.

How can Gathering Place put their signs with rules prohibiting legal firearm carry on the 33 acres of land owned by the City of Tulsa and River Parks Authority?!?!?! Half of the park is not even owned by the Limited Liability Company and yet they installed their harassing signs on public land owned and managed by the City of Tulsa and Tulsa River Parks! This is so arrogant, not to mention illegal and in violation of the Oklahoma Statutes!

First of all, welcome to OSA.
Read the thread, and ignore the signs.
